Can I create a new PlayPokerGO account?

In the interests of general game integrity and individual account security, a strict one PlayPokerGO account per person rule is enforced!

 

I forgot my password. How do I reset my password?

If you can’t log into PlayPokerGO and need to reset your password:

1.   Go to the PlayPokerGO login screen at accounts.playpokergo.com

2.   Click Forgot password?

3.   Enter the email address you used to create the account

4.   Check your email inbox, and click the link in the email you received to reset your password

 

How do I change my email?

Send an email to [email protected] with the following information included in your email:

  • Your username
  • Your current email
  • Your new email

 

How do I change my username?

Send an email to [email protected] with the following information included in your email:

  • Your current username
  • Your top three choices

 

How do I validate my email?

You should have received an email with a link to validate your email after creating a new account. If you did not receive this email, please check your junk mail or spam folder. Please add playpokergo.com to your safe senders list to ensure that you receive important information about your account.

If this email is not in your junk mail or spam folder, send an email to [email protected].

 

My Gold balance was not updated?

Please note that your balance may not be updated immediately upon completing a tournament or hand. It can sometimes take a few minutes for the new balance to be reflected in your account. If your Gold balance is not updated after 10 minutes, send an email to [email protected] with the following information included in your email:

  • Your username
  • Missing Gold amount
  • Time and Time Zone

 

How do I cancel my membership?

PlayPokerGO does not have any “memberships” to cancel.

 

Why was my account closed?

PlayPokerGO strives to maintain a friendly and pleasant atmosphere for our members. We reserve the right to refuse use of our product to anyone who violates our code of conduct.

 

POKER GAME FEATURES

 

How does Poker Weekly Leaderboard work?

Every week, we track players who have won the biggest pots, won the most tournaments, or have the most chips. The Weekly Leaderboard starts on Monday at 12:00AM and ends Sunday at 11:59PM.

 

How do I change my avatar?

To change your avatar, click on your avatar at the top right corner in the poker lobby. Then select the avatar that you wish to use in the “Avatars” tab of your “Personal Center”.

 

If you’re playing on our mobile app, click on your avatar at the lower left corner of the main screen after logging in. Click on the “Avatars” tab and select the avatar that you wish to use.

 

I see avatars on the table that are not available in the store?

Limited-edition avatars are only available for a limited time or are bundled with our promotional offers.

 

How do table gifts work?

Table gifts are used to express praise or gratitude. Send a gift such as a beer or cigar to yourself or to the entire table.

 

How do charms work?

Charms are only for yourself. You can’t buy charms for others. Once you purchase the charm, you’ll be able to wear it for at least one day. You can find the specific expiration date of each charm by hovering your mouse over it.

 

How do I get those snow globe charms?

The snow globe charms are awarded to winners of Tour Mode SNG tournaments. Collect them all or wear them as a badge of honor at the tables.

 

What are Free Lucky Spins?

Lucky Spins are only available on our web-based game (https://games.playpokergo.com/poker) and not available on our PlayPokerGO mobile (iOS and Android) app. Lucky Spins award you free Gold every 2 hours. The amount of Gold awarded ranges from 0 to 5,000.

 

How do I turn music and/or sound off?

To turn off music and/or sound, go to Settings and uncheck Music and/or Sounds. Settings can be found in the top right hand corner of the poker. Click on the menu icon (three horizontal bars) and select Settings from the dropdown. If you’re playing on our mobile app, click on the gear icon at the lower right corner of the main screen after logging in.

 

How do I turn emojis off?

To turn off emojis, go to Settings and check Hide Emojis. Settings can be found in the top right hand corner of the poker. Click on the menu icon (three horizontal bars) and select Settings from the dropdown.

 

If you’re playing on our mobile app, click on the menu icon at the lower left when sitting down at a table. Click on Settings and swipe the Hide Emojis toggle to enable.

 

How do I join a tournament that I’m registered in?

You should be prompted to join a tournament once it has started. If you are not prompted to join, go to the “Tournaments” tab in the poker lobby, select “Registered” from the tabs at the bottom, and select the tournament to join. If you’re playing on our mobile app, click on “Tables” from the main screen, then “Tournaments” tab, then “Registered” tab.

 

What is rake?

Rake is a commission fee that is common in live and online poker ring games. To provide players a more realistic and authentic poker experience, PlayPokerGO will take a small portion of the pot (up to 5% of the pot size) as rake at the end of each hand in ring games. The amount taken is dependent on stakes and the number of players dealt into the hand.
Like live venues, we place a cap on rake based on big blind (BB). The cap is based on stakes (the higher the stakes, the lower the cap) and the number of players dealt into the hand (the fewer the players, the lower the cap).
We enforce a “No Flop, No Drop” policy in ring games. This means no rake will be taken if the hand does not see a flop.

 

How do I play for real money/prizes?

There are no games for cash and prizes available on PlayPokerGO, but you can enjoy unlimited fun around the clock in your favorite ring games, sit-n-go’s, and tournaments.

What is Gold?

Gold is the virtual currency used for playing poker on PlayPokerGO and purchasing virtual goods on PlayPokerGO.

 

What is Silver?

Silver is the virtual currency used for playing casino games on PlayPokerGO.

 

Can I cash out my Gold & Silver points?

Gold & Silver Points are for entertainment purposes only and are not redeemable for real world cash or prizes.

 

Am I allowed to transfer Gold & Silver Points to other accounts?

Gold & Silver Points are non-transferable between PlayPokerGO accounts. If you are caught playing in a manner which is deemed unethical by PlayPokerGO in its sole discretion (including, without limitation to, team play, soft play, sale of chips between players or chip dumping) will result in the immediate termination of your account with no recourse.

 

What are Premium Spins?

Premium Spins are Lucky Spins with 100X multipliers. You can purchase Premium Spins in bulk with Spin Tickets.

 

What are Spin Tickets?

Spin Tickets are used for Premium Spins that award you 100X more Gold than your free Lucky Spins.

How do I report another player for abuse?

We believe that all our players should be able to enjoy our game without feeling harassed. If you feel that another player’s username is offensive or otherwise inappropriate, please take a screenshot and send an email to [email protected] with the following information included in your email:

  • The screenshot
  • Their user name

 

A Customer Support representative will investigate the matter.

 

Code of Conduct

The following is deemed inappropriate conduct and may result in permanent account closure:

a.    Collusion with another member (chip dumping, soft playing) of any sort or any other form of cheating.

b.    Agreeing to take any action when there is another member all-in.

c.    Telling anyone your down cards before a hand is complete.

d.    Selling Gold or Silver Points for cash.

e.    Attempting in any way to induce a member to leave a game to play in another.
